Not sure myself, but I'd say "the hobbit" would be a great player on any team. Rangers seem to think not though, they put him on the "for sale" list.

I wish I could watch the Wilds game tonight though :/

Yeah, as an East Coaster I'm not too pleased with the 10PM start, but I had to deal with that throughout the play offs so I guess I should be used to it.

I'm a Wild fan and currently a Rangers fan (must be a fan of norwegian players), NHL is a pretty big deal over here. Norwegian Hockey do have players from Canada FFS :P

Yeah. Hoping Ottawa can take down the Sharks tonight also. Same with Edmonton and St. Louis. As long as Calgary, Vancouver, and Winnipeg can continue losing I'll be happy.

Hockey is a rather small sport in Norway though :( And I'd say NHL is bigger than our own series.. We never give up though :)

Yes, the Kane injury definitely hurt them. Yet to be seen how the Timonen trade will effect them. There's news of Patrick Sharp being dealt to Washington which may not hurt them too much but unless they get a top 6 forward they're not gonna be aided too much by that trade.

I have to say I'm fairly surprised to hear that. But most Norwegians live in the south where it really doesn't get to cold (if I remember correctly).

Most of us live in the south yes.... But not that cold, well, that depends on what you define as cold :P I live rather far south, and -30 celsius is quite common. :P The parts FAR south though might only have -10 celsius.

It was an enjoyable game to listen to (radio hockey while making dinner is surprisingly fun) just hoping that they can keep the momentum with Z out. Also nice that Marchenko got his first goal at the NHL level...such a good spread of talent down in Grand Rapids, really looking forward to the next few years after the dark times after Lidstrom left.
